Dr. Shyler Vincent
Dr. Shyler Vincent received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science/Zoology from the University of Oklahoma in 2005. She attended dental school at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and obtained her doctorate of dental surgery in June 2009.
Dr. Vincent was also one of six graduates nationwide to be accepted to complete a one-year AEGD (advanced education in general dentistry) residency from June 2009- June 2010 at the OU College of Dentistry. During this extended training, she focused on placing implants, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, crown/bridge and extractions.
Dr.Vincent and her husband, Jason Vincent, have two wonderful children. Their son Gage and their daughter Devyn keep them very busy and the entire family love to spend time outdoors.
Alejandra is our Dental Assistant. She graduated from Platt College in 2015. She is originally from Dallas, TX and now resides in Norman, OK. In her free time she likes to just hang out with friends and family, run, mountain bike, or just go for a walk and enjoy the nice weather. Otherwise my husband and I stay indoors and enjoy watching sports and movies in the comfort and warmth of our house!
Jennifer Clem is originally from Cushing, Oklahoma, and graduated from Rose State College in 1997 with a degree in dental hygiene.
She joined Dr. Vincent and Dr. Skarky’s practice in March, 2011. Many of her patients transferred to Dr. Vincent’s practice when her previous employer closed down. “It has been such a blessing to have cared for most of my patients for nearly 18 years,” she says, “they are truly like family to me.”
She has been married to her husband, Jason, for almost 16 years. They have a daughter, Jaycie, and a son, Cruz. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys traveling, watching OU football, going to the lake, spending time with family and friends, and watching her children learn and grow.
Darla Hotella spent her formative years in both the Oklahoma City metro and Choctaw, Oklahoma, where she currently resides. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Rose State College in 1989, and went on to complete her Bachelor’s in 2010.
Darla and Jessie, her husband since 2007, have two boys. They spend their time with family and friends attending church activities, sporting events (especially OU football), and cheering on their boys in their activities. They also enjoy spending outdoors, and the boys all enjoy hunting.
Robin Velia moved from her home town in western New York to Oklahoma in 1995, when her husband was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base. When her husband retired, they remained in Moore, Oklahoma, as they love the area and always planned on staying. She graduated from Platt College with her Dental Assistant degree in 2012.
Robin’s favorite way to spend her free time is walking and being with her dog, Chewbacca. Family time is very important to her; she and her family make it a point to sit down for a family meal most nights, where there’s a standing rule that everyone has to make at least three comments about their day!
Originally from Oklahoma City, where she lived with her grandparents for many years, she moved to Ada, Oklahoma with her parents and graduated from Byng High School. It was in Oklahoma city, at one of her first jobs in the area, that she met her loving husband, Bobby, with whom she had two sons, Robbie and Cameron.
Susan is truly a mother, in every sense of the word. Her love does not merely extend to her sons, or even to her husband, but to all; whether it’s a baby at a restaurant who just wants to play “Peek-a-Boo,” a coworker or patient who just needs a hug, or even a stranger who needs a smile. She is a warm, loving person who instills her happiness in all those she meets.
She has been greeting and helping patients since May, 2011. A warm person such as Susan is naturally drawn to warm weather, and loves to travel – especially to beaches!
